Questions about the Fund
Q: How did A Gift for the Future Children's Fund get started?

A: A Gift for the Future Children's Fund was started in 2004 by Jared & Carrie Jackson, who saw an opportunity to help raise money for a cause they cared deeply about: helping make sure every child has the potential of a bright future, full of opportunity.

Q: Where does the money raised by A Gift for the Future Children's Fund go?

A: The money raised by A Gift for the Future goes to support charities with a proven record helping at risk children in the United States. You can learn more about the kind of programs we support by reading our Mission Statement and Supported Charities.

Q: What is your '100% Promise'?

A: Unlike most nonprofit organizations, our fund is managed entirely by people volunteering their time. This means that we do not have to take any of the money donated directly as cash to pay for overhead in the organization. While our other fund rasiers have some costs, such as shipping and packaging, the only cost incurred by direct donation comes from the standard finance transfer costs associated with any credit card transaction. We give every penny of the money we recieve from cash contributions to the charities we support. In our experience, there are very few other organizations that can make this claim.
